Pastor

Pastor Tim Scott has been the pastor since June 16, 2019. He received his BA in Biblical Studies and his BA in Christian Philosophy from College at Southeastern.  In 2013, he received his MA in Intercultural Studies from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Tim served as an International Missionary (through the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention) in South Asia from 2016-2019. Prior to that, Tim served as Pastor of Goshen Baptist Church in Scottsville, VA for 6 years (2010-2016) and Assistant Pastor of Union Chapel Baptist Church in Rolesville, NC for 3 years (2007-2010). Tim and his wife, April, currently reside in Luray, VA with their three young daughters (Lilly – 12; Sienna – 9; Charlotte – 5).

Children’s Ministry Director

Hi, I am Amanda Dofflemyer and I reside in Luray with my husband, Mark, and our son, Camden. I graduated from Liberty University in May 2022 with my Masters in the Art of Teaching and Elementary Education. I currently teach at Luray Elementary School, and I have been teaching for the past eight years. I have taught kindergarten through eighth grade. I am also a certified Zumba instructor, and teach a kids combo dance class at our local dance studio, Inspiring Dreams. I enjoy volunteering at our local rec center spending time with the youth of our community. I have a passion for teaching children and spreading the good news of the Gospel to all.

Church Secretary

Marcy Campbell is our church secretary. She started to work here upon retiring from a 30-year teaching career in the Page County Public School system. She earned her undergraduate degree at Illinois State University and postgraduate through Walden University. Along with her part time position here, she is also owner/operator of Downtown Studios, Unlimited (fitness studio) in Luray. She has been married to CT Campbell of Luray for 31 years. They have one daughter, Monica Campbell, who currently teaches 5th grade in New York City. She is an avid fitness enthusiast and promoter of staying active. She is ready to lend a hand or shoulder or ear when needed to whomever walks through the office doors or calls in.
